The Bridge Theatre Company is a New York City
ensemble of American and Canadian theatre artists dedicated to the cross-border development, workshop and production of new plays. The company examines the relationship between these two contemporary theatrical cultures through the work of emerging playwrights, actors and directors.

Through its New Play Development program, the Bridge accepts a wide variety of script submissions from writers in the United States and Canada, hoping to discover and develop new plays that can examine everything from the bridges between two nation to the bridges between two people.

The Bridge is the resident theatre company of Shetler Studios & Theatres, and a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization as a division of Shetler Studios TDG.

Shetler Studios & Theatres is a theatrical complex comprising 21 upscale rental studios in the heart of New York’s Theatre District. The facility is widely recognized as a destination of choice for the New York entertainment industry, offering a unique infrastructure that supports projects from audition through rehearsal to performance.
